Brütal Legend

Though this may not be exactly new, it is rather fascinating.

Brütal Legend, a new 1-Player Action/Adventure game is coming out for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. Published by Sierra and Developed by Double Fine, it is set to be released in 2008. This game is based in a fantasy world full of hardcore rock legends, designs, and machines. The main character is a "roadie" named Eddie Riggs (Voiced by none other than...JACK BLACK!!!). The game is set to have a day-night cycle and will be filled with lots of action as you rip through what look like rock zombies, creatures, and other rock-associated villains with your axe or create magical forces with your guitar. From the inside information I've seen of this game, plus the releases of Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, the gaming industry WILL BE ROCKED!!!

Though I am not putting the full story on here NOW, you should expect it sometime.
